Full Job Description Description:
Pay Range:
$18•$24/hr
Benefits:
Medical, dental, vision, 401, sick time and PTO after 90 days!
Shift:
Monday•Friday, 6:00 AM•2:00 PM Summary Responsible for preparing surfaces and applying powder coatings to various parts and products, ensuring high-quality finishes, adherence to specifications, and efficient operation of powder coating equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns, ovens, and wash systems. Apply powder coating to achieve specified thickness, coverage, and finish quality. Responsible for training painters. Monitor curing processes and temperatures to ensure optimal adhesion and durability. Conduct visual inspections of finished products for defects, runs, sags, or uneven coverage. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of powder coating equipment and booth. Maintain accurate records of production, materials used, and quality control checks. Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Troubleshoot basic issues with powder coating equipment and processes. Assist with inventory management of powder coat materials and supplies.
Requirements:
Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. 3-5 years of experience in powder coating, industrial painting, or a related field preferred. Technical or vocational training in painting or finishing a plus.
