In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality powder coatings to various metal components and products, ensuring a durable and attractive finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where precision, safety, and efficiency are paramount. Your expertise will contribute to delivering top-tier products that meet our quality standards and customer expectations. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking to ensure optimal coating adhesion. Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and airless paint sprayers, to apply coatings evenly across products. Use hand tools and power tools for surface preparation and finishing tasks. Handle materials safely using forklifts, cranes, or other materials handling equipment to move components within the workspace. Inspect finished products with precision measuring instruments and visual checks to verify coating quality and uniformity. Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, calibration, and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation. Follow safety protocols related to industrial painting, auto body repair techniques, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Skills Proficiency with forklift operation, crane handling, and warehouse experience for efficient materials movement. Mechanical knowledge combined with manufacturing experience to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly. Familiarity with industrial painting processes including airless paint spraying and auto painting techniques. Experience with fabrication, machining, welding, auto body repair, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Ability to interpret technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments for quality control. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote continuous improvement in workflow efficiency. Strong understanding of materials handling safety procedures within a manufacturing environment.
