Paint Mixer

Job Summary The Mixing Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining organization, accurate recordkeeping, and FIFO processes within the paint kitchen. This role ensures materials meet specifications and are available to support production schedules. Key Responsibilities Verify paint specifications and maintain mix room logs Ensure adequate supply of paint, catalysts, filters, and related materials Report out-of-spec materials to leadership or engineering Operate, clean, and maintain paint guns and pump systems Properly dispose of paint waste and maintain environmental standards Flush systems for color changes and perform routine clean-up Receive, store, and manage inventory (including scanning materials) Maintain housekeeping standards in the mixing room Complete daily paint usage reports and required documentation Support production needs, including backing up hand painters and assisting with filter changes Participate in safety initiatives, training, and team meetings Qualifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow safety and quality procedures Comfortable working with chemicals and industrial equipment Basic computer or handheld scanner experience preferred Reliability and ability to work in a team environment
