Job Description

We're hiring a Mixing Room Attendant to support our paint operations by maintaining organization, material flow, and quality standards in the mix room. This role ensures paint is within specification, supports production with the right materials, and helps keep the area clean, safe, and efficient. You'll work closely with the Paint team to track usage, manage inventory, and assist with equipment and line support. Job Summary The Mixing Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining organization, accurate recordkeeping, and FIFO processes within the paint kitchen. This role ensures materials meet specifications and are available to support production schedules. Key Responsibilities Verify paint specifications and maintain mix room logs Ensure adequate supply of paint, catalysts, filters, and related materials Report out-of-spec materials to leadership or engineering Operate, clean, and maintain paint guns and pump systems Properly dispose of paint waste and maintain environmental standards Flush systems for color changes and perform routine clean-up Receive, store, and manage inventory (including scanning materials) Maintain housekeeping standards in the mixing room Complete daily paint usage reports and required documentation Support production needs, including backing up hand painters and assisting with filter changes Participate in safety initiatives, training, and team meetings Qualifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow safety and quality procedures Comfortable working with chemicals and industrial equipment Basic computer or handheld scanner experience preferred Reliability and ability to work in a team environment
