7447 19 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48314 Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial painting techniques and be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate primers
- Mix paints and match colors to specifications
- Apply paint using various methods such as brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Ensure quality control standards are met for all painted parts
- Maintain painting equipment and tools in good working condition Qualifications
- Experience in industrial painting with the ability to fabricate and use precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
- Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge for understanding equipment operation
- Familiarity with materials handling procedures
- Experience operating forklifts and using hand and power tools
- Welding experience is a plus
