Job Description
A Powder Coater is responsible for applying powder coating to raw materials, often metal, using manual spray guns or automated spray booths.

Essential Functions:
Cleaning and preparing surfaces for powder coating Ensuring proper adhesion by sandblasting or other surface treatments Regulating machine temperature, air pressure and flow of coatings Spraying the powder coating evenly onto the surface Inspecting coated components for uniformity, coverage and defects Ensuring the final product meets manufacturing standards Additional requirements: Wearing protective gear to avoid exposure to the powder coating, PPE consisting of respirator, gloves, eye protection, etc.. Experience in powder coating techniques Strong attention to detail and quality Knowledge of coating equipment and materials Safely lifts and / or moves up to 50lbsPhysical/Sensory Functions:
Regularly will stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands; Frequently will bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch Qualifications Must have 1 - 3 years powder coating experience Mechanical interests and problem solving ability Self-motivated Customer focused Must have reliable transportation NVE is a US manufacturer of tanker truck equipment for the liquid waste, oil and gas mining and hydro excavation industries.
