Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces and apply gel coats using airless paint spraying equipment, ensuring even coverage and optimal finish quality Operate power tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and surface quality Handle materials efficiently, including loading, unloading, and moving components with forklifts or cranes as needed Perform routine maintenance on spray equipment and tools to ensure consistent operation Conduct auto body repair or finishing touch-ups when necessary to meet quality standards Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols Collaborate with team members in assembly, machining, or fabrication tasks as required Assist in training new team members on gel coating techniques and safety procedures ExperienceCandidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in gel coating within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Shift:

Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm, OT on FridaysJob Summary Masterson Staffing is seeking an experienced Gel Coater to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This position is temp to hire at our client company in Wyoming, MN.Duties Verification molds are properly prepped prior to Gel Coat. Verify Chop / Lamination is fully supplied with gel coated product to work on. Ensure Gel coat layers are spaced out accurately. Ensure gel coat thickness is checked in the right spot and within the proper Gel coat thickness range. Verification that Gel coat parts are properly documented. Ensure color changeovers, set up, and clean up are all done within a reasonable amount of time. Ensures production tools are filled out each hour and schedule followed.

Requirements:

Must have at least 2 full years of experience in a Gel Coating.

Must be able to lift up to 80lbs with no restrictions.
