This role includes equipment inspections, chemical and coating testing, process monitoring, and troubleshooting support while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards. This position is ideal for a motivated individual interested in learning a custom-built paintline system from the ground up, taking ownership of responsibilities, and building technical expertise in paintline operations. The Paintline Handler works closely with supervisors and production teams to support productivity, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and daily upkeep of paintline equipment to ensure proper functionality. Conduct chemical, paint, and coating tests in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. Monitor process performance, document operating parameters, and report results to supervisors. Identify equipment issues, system malfunctions, or safety concerns and communicate them promptly. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for chemical handling, testing, and equipment operation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting 5S and company safety standards. Assist with troubleshooting and support continuous improvement initiatives related to paintline performance. Learn and operate within a specialized custom-built system, taking ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities. Collaborate with team members and leadership to achieve daily production, quality, and safety goals. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Ability and willingness to learn a specialized, custom-built paintline system from the ground up. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Strong communication skills with the ability to report progress, issues, and results effectively. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Preferred Previous experience in manufacturing, chemical handling, or paintline operations. Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance or process testing procedures. Familiarity with 5S, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies. Physical & Compliance Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must comply with all company safety, environmental, and operational standards. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds as needed. Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and other required safety gear.
