Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of materials handling and the ability to work with precision measuring instruments. The Powder Coater will play a crucial role in enhancing the durability and aesthetic appeal of our products. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as necessary. Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and ovens. Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently to achieve desired finishes. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications. Perform routine maintenance on coating equipment and troubleshoot any issues. Collaborate with team members to hang, prep and paint components as needed. Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments for accurate application. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in powder coating or related fields such as auto painting or construction painting is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools, materials handling, and basic math skills. Ability to operate cranes and other lifting equipment safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing processes.
