Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Painter/Finisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishes, paints, and coatings to cabinetry and related components, ensuring a high-quality, durable, and visually appealing product. Your expertise will help bring craftsmanship to life through precise finishing techniques, contributing to the overall excellence of our custom cabinetry solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team dedicated to manufacturing excellence and innovative craftsmanship. Responsibilities Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, lacquers, or other finishes using paint spraying equipment, brushes, or rollers with precision and consistency Operate power tools and hand tools safely to assemble, repair, or modify cabinetry components as needed Use precision measuring instruments and fabrication tools to ensure accurate dimensions and proper fitting of finished parts Conduct quality inspections throughout the finishing process to meet strict standards for appearance and durability Handle materials carefully during finishing processes, including materials handling and storage of paints and coatings Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols related to industrial painting and manufacturing processes Requirements Proven experience in industrial or construction painting, cabinetry painting, auto body repair, or auto painting is highly desirable Familiarity with fabrication techniques, custom staining or any auto body painting experence is a plus Knowledge of materials handling procedures within a manufacturing or warehouse setting Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred), and other heavy machinery safely Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments. Experience with lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction Comfort working with power tools, hand tools, paint sprayers and precision measuring instruments Strong mechanical knowledge related to cabinetry fabrication or assembly processes Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in delivering exceptional craftsmanship through expert finishing!
