This role is responsible for applying high-quality finishes to custom commercial metal fabrication projects including stair systems, railings, gates, and structural steel components. We're looking for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, works with consistency, and thrives in a team-focused fabrication environment. Responsibilities Apply industrial primers, paints, and protective coatings using spray application equipment Prepare fabricated metal surfaces through cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking processes Produce clean, consistent, and professional finishes that meet company quality standards Inspect completed work for imperfections and perform touch-ups or corrections as needed Maintain paint equipment, spray guns, hoses, and work areas in safe operating condition Follow all shop safety procedures, PPE requirements, and production standards Coordinate with shop and production teams to help maintain workflow and project schedules Use the Metalcrafters app for job tracking, production accountability, and task updates Qualifications Previous experience with industrial or commercial spray painting required Experience painting fabricated metal or structural steel preferred Understanding of spray equipment, coating systems, and surface preparation methods Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced fabrication shop environment Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work well within a team setting Join the Team Build your future with a company that values hard work, craftsmanship, and growth opportunities — "One step at a time." #hc244626
