This position is ideal for someone experienced in metal work (body repair), surface preparation, painting, and reassembly. The ideal candidate takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship and has experience working on vehicles in restoration, collision repair, or dealership environments. We specialize in European car top-tier restoration , and are looking for someone who shares a passion for precision, quality, and attention to detail. You will be responsible for performing body repairs, prepping vehicles for paint, applying high-quality finishes, and assisting with reassembly to complete projects to a professional standard. Responsibilities Perform auto body metal work including dent repair, panel repair, and minor fabrication Prepare vehicles for paint: sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming surfaces Apply paint using spray guns and related equipment to ensure smooth, even finishes Perform buffing, polishing, and detailing to achieve final quality standards Assist with vehicle reassembly after paint and repair work Perform minor mechanical tasks as needed (glass installation, wheel alignment, etc.) Use welding equipment and hand/power tools for repairs and modifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all safety procedures when working with chemicals, tools, and equipment Requirements / Skills Experience in auto body repair, metal work, and auto painting Ability to prep vehicles properly for paint (sanding, masking, priming) Skilled with spray guns, power tools, and body repair tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in restoration, collision repair, or dealership settings preferred Basic welding skills and mechanical knowledge are a plus Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a physical environment Nice to Have Experience with full auto restoration projects, especially European vehicles Knowledge of estimating or customer-facing work Glass replacement and light mechanical repair experience

$20.00 - $40.00 per hour
