Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Painter and a Bodymen to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and finishing services, ensuring vehicles and equipment look their best while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship. Your expertise will help enhance vehicle appearance, restore auto bodies, and contribute to overall customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your technical skills, work with a variety of tools and materials, and be part of a passionate team dedicated to excellence. Duties Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, and masking prior to painting or finishing. Apply paint, primers, clear coats, and other finishes using airless paint spraying equipment, brushes, or rollers. Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel alignment, and auto restoration tasks. Conduct auto glass replacement and repair to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Use hand tools and power tools for buffing, polishing, detailing, and minor mechanical repairs. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid checks, tire rotations, and light mechanical work. Execute auto estimating procedures to determine repair costs accurately while providing excellent customer service. Handle heavy lifting safely when moving vehicles or parts during repair or restoration projects. Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Proven dealership experience or background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Strong welding skills combined with mechanical knowledge for comprehensive vehicle restoration. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, buffing machines, and auto detailing products. Knowledge of auto glass installation and repair techniques. Experience with auto estimating software and customer service practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.
