In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pristine condition by removing imperfections, scratches, and swirl marks, ensuring a flawless finish that exceeds customer expectations. Your expertise will contribute to delivering outstanding auto body refinishing results, enhancing vehicle appearance and value. This position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled technicians eager to showcase their craftsmanship in a dynamic automotive environment. Duties Perform paint correction procedures including buffing, polishing, and surface leveling to eliminate blemishes and restore vehicle paintwork Prepare vehicle surfaces through meticulous masking, sanding, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, grinders, and airless paint sprayers to apply coatings with precision and consistency Conduct surface preparation masking to protect adjacent areas during refinishing processes Execute auto body repairs such as minor dent removal or panel straightening as needed before painting Apply automotive paint using conventional spraying techniques and airless systems for smooth, even coverage Ensure all work complies with safety standards by utilizing respiratory protection equipment and following proper handling procedures for hazardous materials Qualifications Proven experience in auto body repair, auto painting, or automotive surface refinishing; dealership experience is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, grinders, and buffing equipment Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and auto restoration techniques Knowledge of surface preparation masking, sanding, and painting processes including auto glass protection Ability to operate spray guns, airless paint sprayers, and other refinishing equipment efficiently Experience with welding is a plus; mechanical or mechanic experience is advantageous for understanding vehicle structures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during detailed refinishing tasks Join our team as an Automotive Paint Correction Specialist where your craftsmanship will make a tangible difference!
