Industrial Painter

Job Summary Advantage TerraFab is looking to fill a full-time position for an Industrial Painter. The job consists of some prepping and utilizing a pressure pot system. Experience preffered, but not required. We will train the right candidate. Applications and resumes can also be turned in at the office. This position is for 2nd shift.

Job duties:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking as needed. Mix and apply paints, primers, and coatings to surfaces in accordance with specifactions. Operate and maintain spray guns, pressure pots, and other painting equipment. Inspect finished work to ensure high-quality standards and correct any defects. Follow safety protocols including proper use of PPE and ventilation. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or other technical documents. Assist with routine maintenance of paiting equipment and tools.

Requirements:

Experience with a pressure pot system. 2+ years of experience in industrial painting or a similar role preferred. Familiarity with different types of coatings and surface preparation techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions. Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations related to painting and coatings. Physically able to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
