About the Role We are seeking a skilled Coating Specialist to join our production team, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the aesthetic and protective quality of our manufactured goods. By utilizing advanced spray equipment and precise application techniques, you will help us maintain our reputation for high-quality finishes and operational excellence. Responsibilities Execute high-quality coating applications using industrial spray equipment within a controlled booth environment. Perform comprehensive surface preparation, including sanding, grinding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Interpret complex work orders, technical blueprints, and coating specifications to achieve precise finish requirements. Mix paints, solvents, and specialized coatings accurately to meet strict product standards. Maintain a safe and efficient workspace by adhering to rigorous industrial safety protocols and equipment maintenance standards. Utilize various hand, power, and pneumatic tools to complete finishing tasks with high attention to detail. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in industrial or automotive painting. Proven expertise in surface preparation methods and coating application techniques. Ability to read and translate technical specifications and blueprints into high-quality finished products. Physical capability to handle materials up to 70 lbs and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality control standards. Preferred Skills Prior experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Demonstrated proficiency with overhead crane operations. Experience working with high-pressure airless or conventional spray systems.
