Full Job Description Summary:
The Automotive Painter is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing automotive parts to achieve high-quality, durable, and visually consistent results.
Pay:
$24 - $26 / hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming. Mix and match paint colors according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements. Apply primers, sealers, base coats, and clear coats using spray equipment and approved techniques. Inspect surfaces for imperfections and perform necessary repairs prior to painting. Maintain consistent paint thickness, texture, and finish quality. Buff, polish, and finish painted surfaces to achieve required appearance standards. Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and specifications.
Education and Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or Painting experience Industrial spray finishing experience Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $24 - $26 USD hourly. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
