Job Summary We are seeking an experienced 1st Class Industrial Painter with strong hands-on experience in abrasive blasting (sandblasting) and industrial spray coating applications for marine and heavy industrial projects. The ideal candidate is based in Rhode Island or Massachusetts and must be capable of performing surface preparation and coating applications to high industry standards with minimal supervision. standards Operate blasting equipment safely and efficiently Surface preparation: grinding, power tool cleaning, masking, degreasing Mix and apply industrial coatings using: Airless spray systems, Conventional spray guns, Roll/brush (as needed) Apply epoxy, urethane, zinc-rich, specialty coatings Check and record DFT (Dry Film Thickness) using coating gauges Follow job specifications and safety procedures(PPE, confined space, ventilation) Qualifications 3+ years experience in Industrial / Marine painting Strong experience with sandblasting + airless spray Able to read and interpret coating specifications Familiar with

standards Experience in shipyard, marine, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environment preferred Physically able to work in confined spaces, heights, and industrial conditions Skills Required Surface preparation knowledge Coating mixing ratios & pot life understanding Quality control awareness (DFT / adhesion checks) Equipment maintenance knowledge Strong safety mindset Preferred Certifications(If Available)
