Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Automotive Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of vehicles, ensuring a flawless appearance and durable protection. Your expertise will help restore vehicles to their optimal condition, contributing to customer satisfaction and the overall success of our auto body shop. This position offers an exciting opportunity for seasoned painters who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in their craftsmanship. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply automotive paint using airless paint spraying equipment, hand tools, and power tools with precision and consistency Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel alignment, and surface smoothing before painting Conduct buffing and polishing to achieve a high-gloss, mirror-like finish on painted surfaces Assist with auto glass replacement and minor auto restoration tasks as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times Collaborate with team members on vehicle maintenance, detailing, and auto estimating processes to ensure timely completion of repairs Requirements Proven dealership or auto body shop experience as an automotive painter or similar role Strong knowledge of auto painting techniques including airless spray systems and detailing methods Experience with auto body repair, auto restoration, and auto glass installation is highly desirable Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding work regularly Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward clients and team members Join us if you're passionate about automotive craftsmanship!
