Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contract Paint Supervisor for a temporary assignment of approximately three months . This role will oversee union painters and manage the finishing process for aircraft wing stringers, ensuring quality standards, production efficiency, and compliance with client specifications. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the aerospace or aviation industry, and have experience working within a union workforce.

Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of union painters on the manufacturing production floor. Oversee the finishing and painting process of aircraft wing stringers to ensure quality and consistency. Monitor daily production activities to maintain workflow efficiency and meet production schedules. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, company standards, and safety requirements. Coordinate with production, quality, and management teams to address process issues and improve operations. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members while maintaining positive labor relations. Conduct inspections and verify work quality throughout the finishing process. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate project status to leadership.
