Full-Time Position Overview Motivera Search Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter for one of our valued clients. The Industrial Painter is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing surfaces using a variety of techniques and materials to meet quality and safety standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product durability, corrosion protection, and overall finish quality. Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, blasting, and masking as required Apply coatings using spray guns, brushes, rollers, or other industrial painting equipment Mix and match paints, primers, and coatings according to specifications Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials and use of PPE Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications Maintain a clean and organized work environment Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of experience in industrial or commercial painting preferred Knowledge of industrial coatings, surface preparation, and application techniques Experience with spray systems (airless, conventional, or electrostatic) Ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety guidelines Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in various environments (including heights or confined spaces) Preferred Qualifications Certification in industrial painting or coatings application Experience in manufacturing, construction, or heavy equipment environments Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards Familiarity with sandblasting or abrasive blasting techniques Work Environment Industrial or manufacturing setting with exposure to paint fumes, dust, and varying temperatures May require use of respirators and other protective equipment Potential for overtime and weekend work based on project demands Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance (if applicable) Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement About Motivera Search Group Motivera Search Group is a trusted recruiting partner connecting top talent with leading organizations.
