Powder Coating Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coating Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality powder coatings to a variety of metal products, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help us produce finished goods that meet precise specifications and customer expectations. Duties Accurately quote each individual job, prep time, amount of materials needed and curing time Prepare metal parts and components by cleaning, sandblasting, dipping, masking, and setting up for powder coating processes Operate powder coating equipment, including spray booths, airless paint sprayers, and curing ovens Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure proper fit and finish of coated items Handle materials safely using forklifts, cranes, and other warehouse equipment to transport parts within the facility Conduct quality inspections using measurement tools to verify coating thickness, surface finish, and adherence Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, calibration, and minor repairs as needed Follow safety protocols related to industrial painting, auto body repair techniques, and materials handling Experience Proven experience in industrial or automotive painting, powder coating, or auto body repair preferred Familiarity with manufacturing environments involving machining, fabrication, or assembly processes Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste Hands-on experience with welding, auto painting, or construction painting is advantageous Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently Basic math skills for measuring coating thickness and calculating material usage Prior experience with precision measuring instruments and hand tools in a production setting Join our team as a Powder Coating Technician to bring your technical skills into a dynamic manufacturing environment where quality craftsmanship drives success. Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
