Sandblaster Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Sandblaster to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing surfaces by removing rust, paint, and contaminants using abrasive blasting equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in an industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Operate sandblasting/abrasive blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces Remove rust, paint, and other materials from metal and equipment parts Inspect surfaces before and after blasting to ensure quality standards are met Prepare materials and equipment for blasting, including masking and setup Maintain and clean blasting equipment and work areas Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE Assist with general shop duties as needed Requirements Previous sandblasting or industrial experience preferred (but not required) Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic Work Environment Industrial/shop setting Exposure to dust, noise, and outdoor/warehouse conditions Must wear required protective equipment
