Anticipated Start Date July 1, 2026 Location Conroe, TX Type of Employment Contract Employer Info Our client specializes in the engineering and fabrication of rig systems, wellbore technologies, and completion and production solutions. Job Summary Our client is currently seeking a Blaster/Painter whose role includes painting applications, preparation of paint equipment, and preparation of equipment surfaces to be painted using sandblasting, hand sanding, taping, pneumatic hand-operated sanders, or grinding apparatus. Job Description Perform painting-related duties, including but not limited to: Preparing paint equipment and paint materials. Preparing equipment surfaces for painting through sandblasting, hand sanding, taping, and the use of pneumatic sanders or grinding equipment. Moving materials and equipment to staging areas as needed using an overhead crane. Applying primer and paint according to specifications. Cross-train in other areas as required to meet production schedules and manufacturing needs. Operate an overhead crane safely and effectively. Assist with general plant housekeeping, including but not limited to sweeping, emptying trash containers, and proper storage of chemicals. Skills Required High attention to detail and quality. Reliable/dependable Previous sandblast experience Previous work experience using 2-part epoxy paint Education/Training/Certifications High School Diploma or GED Additional Requirements Participate in on-the-job training during the first two to three weeks of employment. Work on your feet for more than 8 hours per day and on weekends as required. Work in a non-climate-controlled environment (no air conditioning in the plant). Follow all safety and environmental policies and procedures; use required personal protective equipment (PPE); report any unsafe conditions, activities that may impact safety or productivity, and all workplace injuries immediately.
Schedule:
6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour shift on Saturdays. Pay Rate/Salary $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
