Your New Role:
As a Paint and Powder Coater, you will have a big impact on providing customers with their unique custom enclosures. You'll select appropriate coatings, paints, or prays by mixing substances according to formulas. You will fill hoppers, reservoirs, troughs, or pans with material used to coat or paint. This position requires you to feed items though machines, examine and measure for compliance, and observe all operation of equipment.
Responsibilities :
Select appropriate coatings, paints, or sprays, or prepare them by mixing substances according to formulas, using automated paint mixing equipment. Hold or position spray guns to direct spray onto articles. Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality through visual inspections or by using viscometers. Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects or deviations from standards, and make adjustments as necessary .
What Y ou N eed:
Experience watching gauges, dials, or other indicators Experience conduction tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance Knowledge of performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening
