Job Description

Powder Coater / Painter - 1st Shift | South Fort Worth, TX | $17-20/hr Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a Powder Coater / Painter for a growing lighting manufacturer in South Fort Worth . This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on finishing experience who wants steady hours and a long-term position in a clean, team-oriented production environment.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (1st Shift)
Pay:
$17-20/hr (depending on experience)
Position Overview:
The Powder Coater / Painter is responsible for applying high-quality finishes to metal lighting components using powder coating and industrial painting techniques. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to producing a clean, durable finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply powder coating and/or wet paint to metal parts and fixtures Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and pre-treating materials Ensure even coating thickness and proper curing processes Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications Maintain spray equipment, powder booths, and work areas Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
Qualifications:
Prior experience with powder coating and/or industrial painting Knowledge of surface prep and finishing techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and quality standards Reliable attendance and team-oriented mindset
