Painters - 3rd Shift TempJobsFast, Inc Fort Worth, TX Job Details Temp-to-hire $20 - $22 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Personal protective equipment (PPE) adherence Manufacturing facility experience Attention to detail Sandblasting Manufacturing Sanding Respirator Full Job Description We're currently hiring Painters for a well-established client in Fort Worth (ZIP code 76140). This is an overnight position working Sunday -Thursday with a pay range of $20-$22 per hour (depending on experience). Training will take place on the 1st shift so flexibility to train during daytime hours is required. The role involves working in a commercial paint booth in a manufacturing environment, including wet painting and sandblasting. Full training is provided. Please note that this position always requires the use of a respirator and full PPE. All candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Job Overview:
Painter is responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to products and components within a commercial paint booth environment. This role involves wet painting and sandblasting processes to ensure high-quality finishes that meet company and customer specifications. Full training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, masking, sanding, and sandblasting as required Apply coatings using wet paint systems in a controlled booth environment Operate and maintain painting and sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including proper handling of materials and equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a manufacturing facility within a commercial paint booth Regular exposure to paint fumes, dust, and industrial equipment Use of a respirator and full personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times
Qualifications:
Previous painting or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
