Paint Apprentice (Production Painter Entry Level)

Position Summary The Manufacturing Production Painter prepares, primes, and paints metal and plastic components used in our production process. This role helps ensure our products meet quality and durability standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and masking as required Apply primer, paint, and coatings using spray guns or other equipment Ensure painted surfaces meet quality standards and specifications Maintain painting equipment and ensure proper storage of materials Follow safety protocols and proper use of PPE Maintain a clean and organized work area Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to ensure throughput and quality targets are met Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Basic understanding of safety and OSHA regulations Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment Must be available to work overtime as needed, including staying late beyond scheduled hours and working outside regular days (such as Fridays and Saturdays) based on production demands Comfortable working in environments that may be messy due to paint exposure. English proficiency (verbal and writing) Preferred Qualifications Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or paint specs
