MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auto Detailer / Paint Correction Specialist with advanced expertise in ceramic coatings to join our premium vehicle detailing team. The ideal candidate is a true craftsman who delivers show-quality results on high-end and exotic vehicles, with particular mastery in paint correction and long-term protective coatings. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced multi-stage paint correction (wet sanding, compounding, polishing) to remove swirls, scratches, holograms, etching, and oxidation using DA polishers, rotary tools, and various pads/compounds. Expertly apply, maintain, and warranty high-end ceramic coatings (including multi-year professional-grade coatings such as Gyeon, CarPro, Ceramic Pro, Feynlab, and similar products), graphene coatings, and PPF (paint protection film). This includes proper surface preparation, flawless application, infrared curing, and post-care instructions. Conduct full interior and exterior detailing services, including deep cleaning, leather conditioning, headlight restoration, trim restoration, and engine bay detailing. Inspect vehicles thoroughly upon intake, document pre- and post-work conditions with high-quality photos/videos, and provide detailed explanations to customers regarding paint correction and ceramic coating durability. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all safety protocols for chemicals, tools, and equipment. Mentor junior detailers on proper ceramic coating application techniques and help maintain consistent quality standards across the shop. Stay current with the latest ceramic coating technologies, application methods, and industry trends through ongoing training and product testing. Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 3-5+ years of professional experience as a dedicated paint correction specialist/detailer with proven ceramic coating expertise (portfolio or before/after photos required). Demonstrated mastery of paint correction on various paint types (single-stage, clear coat, ceramic, matte, etc.). Strong hands-on experience with professional ceramic coating systems — including surface preparation, contamination removal, layering, curing, and warranty procedures. In-depth knowledge of detailing products, tools, and equipment (Rupes, Flex, 3D, Gyeon, CarPro, Koch Chemie, etc.). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining both speed and uncompromising quality. Excellent eye for detail, color matching, and lighting assessment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various conditions (indoor bay preferred). Professional appearance and outstanding customer service skills. Preferred Skills IIC-Certified or equivalent formal detailing training, with specific ceramic coating certification preferred. Experience with luxury/exotic vehicles (Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, etc.). Knowledge of vinyl wrap maintenance, minor paint touch-ups, and coating maintenance programs.
