The technician will work closely with a team to ensure precise application following Product Data Sheets (PDS), while also focusing on quality control and safety regulations. The position is critical for maintaining high standards in coating applications and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and maintain airless and conventional spray systems for coating applications. Apply interior liners and exterior coatings with a focus on quality control and adherence to Product Data Sheets (PDS). Safely mix paints according to manufacturer specifications, ensuring proper ratios and thinning. Prepare surfaces for painting, ensuring readiness for high-quality coating applications. Perform daily cleaning and routine maintenance on spray guns and pumps to ensure optimal performance.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience operating and troubleshooting both airless and conventional spray systems in a professional setting. Absolute ability to read, understand, and execute coating applications according to Product Data Sheets (PDS). Strong technical knowledge of paint mixing, ratios, and thinning following exact manufacturer specifications. Experience applying interior liners and exterior coatings with a focus on quality control. Must be fully available to work the second shift schedule: 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
