About DBL Design:
DBL Design is a growing manufacturing and fabrication company specializing in medium-duty truck conversions and custom components. From fiberglass fenders to full armored builds, we bring precision, pride, and creativity to every job. We are seeking a skilled full-time Auto Painter to help us deliver high-quality finishes on our one-of-a-kind projects.
Position Overview:
We're looking for a dedicated Auto Painter with hands-on experience in prepping and painting auto body parts—especially fiberglass fenders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in clean finishes, and can manage a full-time workload.
Responsibilities:
Prep fiberglass and metal parts for painting (sanding, cleaning, masking). Apply primers, basecoats, and clear coats using spray equipment. Color-match paints as needed for consistency. Conduct final inspections to ensure quality and consistency. Maintain equipment and paint booth cleanliness. Follow all safety and PPE protocols.
Requirements:
Painting experience in auto painting (fiberglass experience preferred). Skilled with HVLP guns and industry-standard paint systems. Ability to mix and match custom paints. Strong eye for detail and surface quality. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage deadlines. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
