Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paint Prep professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, ensuring that all surfaces are properly cleaned, sanded, and masked. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality of our auto restoration and painting services. A strong background in vehicle maintenance and familiarity with various tools and techniques will be beneficial. Duties Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces to ensure a smooth application. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform tasks such as surface preparation and minor repairs. Assist in the application of paint using airless paint spraying techniques. Collaborate with mechanics to ensure that all vehicle components are properly maintained before painting. Conduct quality checks on prepared surfaces to ensure they meet company standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Communicate effectively with team members regarding project status. Requirements Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the auto painting industry. Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques is preferred. Knowledge of auto painting processes and auto restoration practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills.
