Position Overview:

The Chiller System Frame Painter at Whaley Products, Inc. is responsible for applying paint to the frames of industrial chiller systems. This role requires expertise in painting techniques and the ability to work both outdoors and indoors. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our chiller systems not only perform at their best but also look aesthetically pleasing to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Paint Application:

Apply paint to chiller system frames using appropriate techniques, ensuring even coverage and a smooth finish.

Surface Preparation:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary to achieve optimal adhesion and finish.

Color Matching:

Mix and match paint colors as required to meet customer specifications.

Equipment Maintenance:

Maintain and clean painting equipment, including brushes, spray guns, and other tools, to ensure their proper functioning.

Quality Control:

Inspect painted frames for quality, identifying and addressing any imperfections or defects in the finish.

Safety:

Follow all safety guidelines and use protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.

Indoor and Outdoor Work:

Be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors, depending on project requirements and weather conditions.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of paint usage, color formulas, and work performed.

Qualifications:

Painting Experience:

Previous experience in painting, particularly in an industrial or automotive setting, is preferred.
