$25/hr Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Industrial Blaster Painter to prepare surfaces and apply industrial coatings in a safe and efficient manner. This role is responsible for surface preparation using blasting techniques, coating application, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. Candidates should have experience operating blasting and painting equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Surface Preparation Remove rust, dirt, old paint, and contaminants using blasting equipment and abrasive media such as sand, grit, or shot Prepare metal and industrial surfaces for coating application Inspect surfaces to ensure they are clean, dry, and free of defects prior to painting Maintain proper surface profiles to ensure coating adhesion and durability Coating Application Apply industrial coatings, primers, paints, and sealants using spray guns, brushes, and rollers Mix coatings and materials according to specifications and manufacturer guidelines Ensure even coating coverage and quality finish standards Follow all safety and environmental procedures during blasting and painting operations Equipment & Safety Operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment safely and efficiently Wear and maintain required PPE and respiratory protection Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications Previous experience as an Industrial Painter, Blaster, or Sandblaster Painter preferred Experience operating blasting and spray-painting equipment Knowledge of industrial coatings, surface preparation, and paint application techniques Ability to work in industrial or manufacturing environments Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Preferred Skills Industrial painting or sandblasting experience Familiarity with industrial coating systems and surface prep standards Experience working in manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy industrial environments Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures
