Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Painter and Bodyman, Prepper to join our automotive repair team. This energetic role involves preparing vehicles for painting, performing auto body repairs, and ensuring every vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and finish. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural repairs using hand tools and welding equipment Apply primer, paint, and clear coats using airless paint spraying equipment and power tools for a flawless finish Buff, polish, and detail vehicles to restore their appearance to showroom quality Replace or repair auto glass as needed, ensuring safety standards are met Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify additional repair needs or potential issues Assist with auto estimating processes by providing accurate assessments of repair scope and materials needed Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive auto body repair background min 5 years experience Strong welding skills for structural repairs and panel fabrication Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and auto body equipment including airless paint sprayers Knowledge of auto painting techniques such as buffing, sanding, and detailing Experience with auto glass replacement and auto restoration projects Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks with precision Excellent customer service skills to communicate repair progress effectively Familiarity with auto estimating software and procedures is a plus Basic mechanic experience beneficial for diagnosing underlying vehicle issues Join our team where your craftsmanship makes a difference!
