Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our team. The Powder Coater will be responsible for applying powder coating to various metal parts and components using specialized equipment.Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
- Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray guns or other application methods
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings to ensure proper coating thickness and coverage
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or rework
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of machining processes and materials handling
- Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Experience in construction painting or fabrication is beneficial
