In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality powder coatings to a variety of metal products, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and compliance with safety standards. Duties Prepare metal parts and components for coating by cleaning, masking, and setting up equipment Operate powder coating booths and spray equipment using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve smooth, even finishes Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, fabrication, and touch-up work as needed Manage materials handling processes, including loading and unloading parts with forklifts and cranes Conduct quality inspections utilizing precision measuring instruments to ensure coating consistency and adherence to specifications Maintain a clean and safe work area by following all safety protocols and procedures Assist in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing minor repairs to optimize production flow Skills Proficiency in forklift operation and materials handling equipment such as cranes Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing machinery, machining, welding, auto body repair, and auto painting processes Experience with industrial painting techniques including powder coating, auto painting, and airless paint spraying Familiarity with construction painting standards and the use of hand tools and power tools for fabrication and assembly Ability to read basic math measurements for quality control purposes Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction Warehouse experience with inventory management, materials organization, and safety compliance Join our team as a Powder Coating Operator if you're passionate about manufacturing excellence!
