As a AAMP Certified Sprayer/Blaster Technician, your role will include:
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Proficient in mixing and applying epoxy and enamel paints according to specifications Ability to read and interpret job specifications to ensure proper completion of tasks Capable of completing assigned tasks within specified timeframes without on-site supervision Understanding of paint induction times and familiarity with spray painting or gas-free pumping procedures Knowledge of the differences between critical and non-critical coating systems Familiarity with marine-grade paints, including the interpretation of safety data sheets (SDS) and
NAVSEA 718
product data sheets Must hold SSPC certification in preservation (C12 or C14) Comprehensive understanding of surface preparation standards, including SSPC-SP-1, SP-2, SP-3, SP-5, SP-6, SP-10, SP-11, and SP-12 Skilled in operating power tools commonly used for surface preparation and paint removal Knowledge of
