Full Job Description Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparing all assigned vehicles for refinishing and supporting Paint Technicians as required. Complete all paint preparation for vehicles according to the direction of the supervising Paint Technician. Assist Paint Technician by preparing panels to determine paint blend needs and assist in sanding and buffing to ensure the paint finish meets quality standards. Assist workflow in keeping all vehicles on schedule for on-time delivery. Follow all required safety guidelines and proper use of the equipment and follow appropriate refinishing procedures in compliance with OSHA guidelines. Adhere to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal. Follow vendor procedures to maintain all tools and equipment, including maintenance of paint booth and booth filters, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Utilize all necessary tools such as sanders, spray guns, sanding blocks, etc. to complete quality work Review repair orders to ensure all operations listed have been completed and verify the panel/parts to be painted. Perform other related duties as assigned, including, but not limited to washing cars, cleaning the shop, assisting other teammates, etc.
Job Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or the equivalent. Experience preferred but willing to train with collision tech school courses or similar. Adapt quickly to fast-paced environment. General mechanical skills. Valid Driver's License. Pass pre-employment insurability, background, and drug screenings.
