Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Parts Washer
  • Paint Prep to join their team. As a Parts Washer
  • Paint Prep, you will be part of the production support team supporting surface preparation and finishing processes.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:
6 am
  • 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday hours What's the Job?
Apply masking to articles to prepare for painting Clean and prepare surfaces of metal parts using solvents, sandpaper, wire brushes, and scrapers Sand, grind, spackle, tape, and clean parts/materials as necessary Load and move materials using manual processes and overhead hoists/cranes Transport painted articles to and from paint and drying booths, rack parts, and transfer finished pieces to appropriate areas What's Needed? One to six months of experience in a similar role or manufacturing environment Ability to operate sanders, grinders, paint guns, and other tools safely and effectively Knowledge of paint characteristics is helpful Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 35 pounds, and work in wet or humid conditions What's in it for me?
