Cabinet Painter/Sprayer Ryland Carter Construction Spokane, WA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $18•$25 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Chemical handling safety procedures Renovation Staining (finishing technique) Wood finishing Cleaning Industrial chemical handling Spray guns (painting, coating and spraying tool) Chemical safety protocols Priming Full Job Description Carter Construction is seeking an experienced Cabinet Painter who is thoroughly experienced in all aspects of cabinet painting, engages in a team-centered approach, and finds pride in hard work and a job well done. The ideal candidate will possess all of the listed requirements, enjoy painting from start to finish, have experience in other areas of custom woodworking, and demonstrate strong character and integrity. The Cabinet Painter will primarily work in our Production Shop, but may also be asked to work in the field in some aspects of remodeling, as needed and as scheduling allows.

REQUIREMENTS
2+ years' experience in cabinet painting Knowledgeable in safe and proper handling of hazardous chemicals and materials Knowledgeable in sanding, priming, staining, painting and applying protective coats Knowledgeable in preparing and applying water based, urethane and lacquer finishes Knowledgeable of spray gun equipment to spray, disassemble, clean and service as needed The ability, creativity, and initiative to problem solve efficiently Clear communicator Reliable transportation Self-starter and motivated Team-minded and flexible
COMPENSATION
Full time, $18•25 hourly to start (DOE & performance) Paid Time Off•after six months
