The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of construction and auto painting. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes in both warehouse and construction environments. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to achieve desired finishes. Operate power tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application of materials. Follow safety protocols while working with chemicals and machinery. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the painting process. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards. Perform maintenance on painting equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance. Requirements Proven experience in construction painting or auto painting is preferred. Familiarity with power tools and precision measuring instruments is essential. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to painting tasks. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience in lean manufacturing principles is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts safely is an advantage but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and move up to 200 lbs, with assist, repetitively throughout the day.
