This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your painting expertise and mechanical skills in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for applying protective coatings to a variety of industrial components, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal coating adhesion. Operate airless paint sprayers, brushes, rollers, and other equipment to apply coatings accurately on metal, wood, or composite parts. Use forklift equipment to handle heavy materials or components safely within the manufacturing or fabrication area. Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments and visual assessments to verify coating thickness and finish quality. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials, disposing of waste properly, and following safety protocols. Assist with assembly tasks as needed, utilizing basic math skills and hand tools for minor modifications or repairs. Qualifications Prior experience in industrial or construction painting is highly preferred; familiarity with auto body repair or auto painting is a plus. Warehouse experience including materials handling with forklifts will support your success in managing supplies and heavy items safely. Basic math skills are necessary for measuring coatings and parts accurately; experience with precision measuring instruments is advantageous.
