Position Details:

Shift:

2nd | Monday - Thursday | 3:00PM - 1:00

AM Pay Range:

Up to $25.00/hour (based upon experience, skill set, and shift)

Shift Premium:

$2.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Make proper adjustments to colors on paint guns to meet customer specifications. Use correct paint gun techniques for consistency, density, and quality. Apply coatings to protect or decorate workpiece surfaces using spray gun. Detect color differences, including shades or brightness variations. Ensure products entering the booth are coatable and that masking has been completed. Identify and troubleshoot any issues at the paint line. Inspect finished surfaces for conformance to specifications. Maintain production rates and uphold quality standards. Check and identify worn parts on spray guns to ensure proper function. Perform regular maintenance on paint guns, including cleaning and adjustments. Set up paint guns accurately and properly. Maintain a clean and safe work area in line with good housekeeping practices. Follow company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

6 months of experience in industrial paint with a solid work history in a manufacturing environment. Basic knowledge of painting techniques and color matching. Experience with Electrostatic paint equipment. Ability to prevent cross-contamination during painting. Knowledge of paint gun set-up. Ability to read and understand work instructions, work orders, or customer specifications. Basic knowledge of handling hazardous waste materials related to paint. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently. Must be able to stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects or tools. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and move from place to place. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education:

Training:

• Minimum 1 year of experience and/or training in production painter position or proven skills for position.
• Must possess knowledge of powder coating applications and techniques.
• Must possess mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of reading, writing, and understanding work instructions, work orders, or customer specifications.
