This role is responsible for preparing parts to meet both customer and internal quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large parts, understand blasting and wet paint processes, and be committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely handle and prepare large parts using proper hanging techniques and hook sizes. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times. Read and interpret paint inspection tools including film gauges, delta e-meters, and gloss meters. Maintain blasting and painting equipment in top working condition. Clean paint and blast booths and guns to prevent color transfer. Keep work area clean and free of blasting materials. Follow batch sheet instructions for sandblasting. Effectively blast parts of varying sizes and geometries to meet quality standards. Log jobs accurately in manufacturing software. Read and understand batch sheets and basic blueprints. Record quality control data accurately. Operate a forklift. Work independently while meeting production and quality goals. Package parts according to batch sheet instructions. Coordinate with supervision to schedule upcoming jobs. Assist in other areas of the paint department as needed. Use safe techniques for moving and hanging parts. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in blasting or industrial painting is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and batch sheets. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to lift, move, and hang large parts. Why Join Us?
