Job Description

Industrial Painter Sturgeon Bay, WI | $22-$25/hr | Direct Hire | 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday, 2:30PM-1:00AM) About the Role This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality finishes. You'll be working with large steel components, helping prepare and apply coatings that protect and enhance heavy-duty equipment used in demanding environments. You'll be part of a team-focused environment where attention to detail and consistency matter. This is a steady 4-day work week on 2nd shift, offering a long weekend every week and opportunities to grow your skills over time. Key Responsibilities Clean and prepare steel surfaces by removing dirt, rust, grease, and old paint Use tools such as scrapers, sanders, and power washers for surface prep Apply industrial coatings using brush, roller, and spray systems Mix and match paints to meet specific color and finish requirements Follow proper handling and disposal procedures for paint materials Maintain a clean and safe work environment Complete additional tasks as assigned Required Qualifications Previous industrial painting experience (conventional or airless systems preferred) Strong attention to detail and quality of work Reliable with a consistent work history Ability to wear full protective gear, including a respirator Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Qualifications Experience working with large steel components or heavy equipment Familiarity with industrial coating processes and standards
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
