Oakland Park, FL Job Details From $22 an hour 20 hours ago Full Job Description Job Overview Geek Wraps is looking for a capable, hands-on person who wants to learn a wide variety of skills and grow with a small manufacturing company. This is not an assembly-line position. You will work directly with ownership and learn many aspects of the business, including: Manufacturing and product assembly Shipping and order fulfillment CNC and laser equipment operation Sewing and light fabrication Operation of common shop equipment, including drill presses, band saws, table saws, sanders, and hand tools Equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting Shopify and Amazon order processing Customer service and sales support Training class setup, organization, and instructor assistance Requirements We will train the right person. We value people who enjoy figuring things out, fixing things, building things, and learning new skills. Previous experience as a handyman, technician, mechanic, fabricator, or general jack-of-all-trades is a plus, but the ability and willingness to learn are more important than prior experience. Strong English communication skills are required. This position offers the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills and take on increasing responsibility as your knowledge and abilities grow.
