Instrumentation Control and Electrical Technician Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Automation & Controls Lead to take ownership of PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming efforts and support automation projects in the field. This hands-on role will lead automation portions of electrical and controls projects from design through startup, while providing direction to electricians and field technicians. Establish automation standards and support company growth. Interface with customers and project managers. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting. 3+ years of experience with SCADA systems and industrial communication platforms. Knowledge of Ethernet/IP and CIP communication protocols. Experience in diagnosing field devices such as sensors, VFDs, and motors. Familiarity with electrical safety standards, including LOTO and

NFPA 70E.

Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong PLC programming experience. Experience with Ethernet/IP, industrial networking, and fieldbus systems. Ability to lead and mentor electricians and technicians. Solid understanding of industrial control systems. Willingness to work hands-on in the field and take callouts. AutoCAD experience is a plus.
