In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise measurements, calibrations, and inspections of manufacturing equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will support continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshoot measurement-related issues, and maintain the integrity of measurement systems across various industrial processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, innovative environment dedicated to excellence in manufacturing and maintenance. Experience Experience in programming Smart scope Vision Measuring equipment (Ram Optical Experience in use of inspection measuring equipment such as optical comparator, measuring microscope, pyrometers, Vernier, pin gauges, pattern blocks, hand tools, non-contact vision measuring system, among others. Basic knowledge of general engineering theories and practices Knowledge of Calibration Management Systems • Knowledge of
AIAG MSA
Knowledge of AS9102 Experience in processes or similar position (preferably) Computer skills and statistical programs (Minitab) Knowledge of GDT Education Degree and/or certification in technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure Set-ups are processed in a timely manner Monitor First Pass Set-up Yield Monitor "Open Work Order With No Labor Ticket Report" daily Assign teams to specific measurement projects (FAIs, PPAP, special project, etc…) Ensure all "200" dimensional and functional testing are completed and data recorded inside VQ Assist team with correct measuring techniques/methods Responsible for the measuring, inspection and accurate completion of First Articles Responsible for the measuring, inspection and accurate completion of Capability Analysis Data for product validations Maintain Calibration System inside Visual Quality Schedule outside calibration laboratories Schedule and complete internal calibrations Register new measuring or testing devices inside Bryant Rubber Calibration system Manage and control calibration certifications (Internal/external) Manage and monitor Non-contact measuring vision systems (SNAP & Ram Optical) Creating and validating measuring programs Work with suppliers to fabricate needed measuring fixtures Create measuring work instructions for validated programs Perform required Incoming Inspection measuring to applicable raw material (inserts) Read and interpret drawings Enforces Bryant Rubber's employee code of conduct and safety rules Maintains a safe work environment at all times; He uses his protective equipment at all times, checks security measures and participates in operational and security training, as well as in the Brigades and Commissions that are formed. Responsible for his/hers quality work quality Ability to follow instructions Detail oriented Analysis abilities Manual Skills Initiative and teamwork Careful and responsible of the equipment that manages Ability to train on the process Handling of measurement equipment Able to communicate in English Essential Physical Activities Physical activities such as bending, climbing, lowering, lifting, continuous movement, able to lift up to 25 pounds Constant standing up to 6 hours. Pass vision exams (without or with prescription glasses)
Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
