Control Valve Technician I

Pay Rate:

$25/hr

Shift:

M-F; 7am to 3pm (OT and weekends as needed)

Responsibilities:

• Locate, use, and comprehend manufacturer installation and operation manuals
• Perform inspection to identify necessary corrective action as authorized
• Perform PMI
• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot valves and other equipment per applicable codes and standards per manufacturer and/or customer requirements all new valves
• Install instrumentation/accessories as necessary
• Operate diagnostic equipment (i.e. Valscope, profiler, etc.)
• Perform calibration of measurement equipment in accordance with internal quality procedures
• Measure and record critical dimensions per manufacturer specifications.

Work environment:

Fast paced and noisy, long-standing hours The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Workshop Qualifications:
