UL 508A-Certified Control Panel Technician /
Builder Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Control Panel Technician who is UL 508A Certified to build, wire, and assemble industrial control panels in compliance with UL standards . The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working on UL 508A-certified control panels and understands electrical schematics, wiring methods, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and wire industrial control panels according to electrical schematics and layouts Ensure all panels meet UL 508A (UL control panel) standards and NEC requirements Install components such as PLCs, relays, breakers, contactors, and terminal blocks Perform panel testing, inspection, and troubleshooting Maintain clean, organized, and compliant panel builds Work with engineering and production teams to meet project specifications and deadlines
Qualifications:
Proven experience building UL-certified control panels Knowledge of UL 508A , NEC, and industrial electrical codes Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Strong attention to detail and quality Experience with hand tools, crimping, wiring, and panel assembly Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
UL 508A training or certification PLC wiring experience Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
